Within myself I carefully hide,
The reasons why I cry inside.
Bluff and stuff I used to tell,
Thinking it was true, I never knew,
How to explain what I was going through.
Just let my soul rest,
I want my body to protect,
I want my faith to project,
Power of a man not afraid of distress.
Where the hand that never shakes,
Is as soft as Sunday morning,
The eyes that look at you,
Stay still and freeze in time,
The words I say to you,
Speak nothing else but truth.
